Hagon Rav Chaim Pinchos Sheinberg Taken to Hospital

Rav Chaim Pinchas Sheinberg, Rosh Yeshiva of Torah Or, collapsed on Shabbos and is reported in serious condition. Now he should have a complete recovery and live a longer and healthy life, but why when nature takes it course does it cause people to get all apocalyptic? Take this for example:

I can’t believe what’s happening to Klal Yisroel.Rabosei, Rabosei I scream ” lets wake up” we are going through, such dangerous moments in Klal Yisroel, and need the gedolim so much, ”Hashem we can’t survive otherwise, please Hashem Help us “

The man is probably in his nineties. What can't he believe? That people in their nineties have health issues. That humans expire?

Thousands of Women Attend Lakewood’s Tznius Asifa

"Thousands of women (probably a police estimate) attended a massive Asifa in Lakewood’s Bais Faiga Hall (it wouldn't be tznius to have it in Beis Shalom) on Sunday night, to strengthen Tznius in the Ir Hatorah of Lakewood"

YWN posted links to clips of all four speeches. The speakers included Rav Shmuel Kamenetzky, Rav Mattisyahu Solomon, Rebbitzen Halberstat, and Rebbitzen Rischel Kotler.

Is it "Very scary" or is it actually very scary? Maybe it's VERY scary or "Very" scary but not too scary. WHAT IS HE TRYING TO TELL US??????????? I cant figure it out.

Orthodox Jewish Leaders To Visit Iowa Meat Plant

From an article about the National Council of Young Israel , which is coordinating and leading a mission of several Jewish community and rabbinic leaders to the Agriprocessors plant in Postville, Iowa on Thursday, July 31.

This guy must think that YWN is his private news source. (Picture wavy vision, signaling that the following is from my imagination). JustAJew is a retired CIA agent. He currently works for the Israeli Mossad. After he retired, then CIA head Robert Smith recieved directions from the President that JustAJew must continue to be filled in and notified of all newsworthy developments. The Natonal Programmers created a program which was called "Yeshiva World News" that would continuously be updated with items after being approved by the Vice President.

He thought his post was actually an email to the President.

Sounds like a great idea - make sure it’s a surprise visit, so that you can get the real story as to what’s going on.

Two Bochrim Struck by Lightening in Camp Horim

Under a very unfortunate story about two boys who had been struck by lightning in a summer camp, the Commentators* had a problem with the editors incorrect spelling of the word "lightning".

Although this is actually a positive thing that people knew the proper spelling and cared enough to correct it. It is another example of how the YWN readership post comments as if they are the only commentator.

Below are four posts correcting the spelling and a fifth post from someone who wasn't bothered to much.

1. Again, its lightning not lightening. Editor, please be aware of obvious headline spelling mistakes since they undermine the journalistic integrity of Yeshiva World at large.

2. How are the bachurim?And, please - the word is lightning.

3. Boruch Hashem they are being released. PLEASE!!!!!! - the word is LIGHTNING not lightening. Please change it already! It is making eyes hurt.

4. how are the boys, and its LIGHTNING NOT LIGHTENING

5. TOO ALL THOSE concurned about the weigh lightening is spelt- beg deel-knot everywon has too alwayes spel everything the weight u like it. u half to chil. so he maid a miss-steak theerfore wat.
